OCA Members Advertisements In "Journey with Olds":

     Classified ads must be received in Lansing by the first of the month preceding the issue month, Ads arriving later will be run in the following issue.  Current OCA members are entitled to one free ad per issue, to a maximum of 25 words, not counting name, address, phone and email.  Additional words are 15 cents per word.  You must include your membership number and expiration date from your JWO mailing label to use the free ad. Payment for additional words must accompany the ad.  Ads no longer have to be typed or done on a word processor.  Anything legible is fine.  In addition to your phone number, an ad should include your name and mailing address; people want to know who they are dealing with.  Ads cannot be continued over several issues, they must be resubmitted each month.  Photo ads help sell cars and cost $10.  A good crisp well lighted photo is appreciated. Payment must accompany the ad.

     Commercial standing ads provide a one inch or less classified ad (up to eight lines) for 12 issues at a cost of $250 in advance.

     Ads may be edited to provide consistency of appearance in the classified pages. OCA does not warrant for fitness or endorse any products or services advertised in JWO, nor does it assume liability for any misrepresentation or misstatement contained in advertisements, or defects in any type of product advertised. These columns are for Oldsmobile related items only.

     Include BOTH your OCA number and expiration date on ALL ads. If additional payment is required with a faxed or e-mailed ad, mail the check to the OCA post office box below. DON'T FORGET! Phoned in ads will not be accepted.

Commercial Advertising Rate Schedule:

     Business Card special ads, 3.4" by 1.8" are run at a rate of $350 for 12 issues. Commercial standing ads provide a one inch or less classified ad (up to eight lines) for 12 issues at a cost of $250 in advance. These two types of ads are designed for commercial advertisers who wants a convenient and regular way of keeping their firm name in the advertising pages of "Journey with Olds".

     Ad copy, including copy changes must be sent camera ready. Halftones or additional scans to be included in a display ad cost an additional $10 each. Payment in full must accompany the ad copy. Payment by check or money order are to be made payable to OCA. Deadlines are the first month of the preceding issue month. Send copy and payment to the OCA PO box listed below.
